A Message to Our Community



As we navigate COVID-19 on a global scale, our thoughts go out to you. This time is difficult for everyone. Who we are and what we believe is fundamentally rooted in spending time together outside—in supporting each other as we live life outdoors. And during this global event, our communities—friends, families, co-workers, fans—are exactly who we are focused on supporting and protecting.  

After weighing the news and advice from the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, we have taken steps to protect our employees by implementing a company-wide work-from-home policy. We are also emphasizing the practice of social distancing to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.


But this does not mean we have to avoid the outdoors. 

In times like these, we believe the outdoors are more important than ever—providing a path to find balance and perspective during all of the turmoil. If you do venture outside for fresh air and exercise, we are encouraging our employees and our community to follow local health guidelines during this period of limited social interactions. 


For the time being, Smartwool.com will remain open to help people get outside. 

We are taking additional steps to support our distribution center associates with more frequent cleaning and sanitizing of their facilities while also implementing other protective measures. We may experience delays in our normal customer service and warranty response times. We appreciate your support and are working to resume serving you at full capacity as soon as it is safely possible.
