PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM

Eligibility Requirements/Qualifications/Terms for Smartwool’s Pro Purchase Program:

Thank you for your interest in the Smartwool Pro Purchase Program (the "Program"). Listed below are the categories of industry professionals Smartwool supports in our Program. We offer this Program as an incentive for you to use our products and to pass your experiences with Smartwool on to the public. While we always love to help you get properly outfitted, we ask that you abide by the rules governing the Program. Purchases made for anyone other than approved users will result in immediate dismissal from the Program. (This dismissal may cause an overwhelming feeling of sadness and discomfort.) By completing the application you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the responsibilities outlined in our terms and conditions below.

Please read all of the information below before applying for the Program including the Smartwool.com Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To be approved, you must take all of the required steps and provide the required documentation via email to propurchase@smartwool.com.

RETAIL STORE EMPLOYEE
Individual pro purchase accounts are available to store employees currently working for an authorized retailer that sells Smartwool products in the USA. To qualify, provide a Smartwool account number, and a business card or current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

REI RETAIL STORE EMPLOYEE
REI employees must register and access the site through Snap Link. Please have your employee number ready, as it is required for access.

INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL
Individual industry pro purchase accounts are available to full-time employees of companies in the outdoor industry that offer reciprocal pro purchase privileges. To qualify for this category you must be an exhibitor at the OIA or SIA tradeshows. You must register using your business email address. To qualify, provide a business card or current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

ADVENTURE TRAVEL GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for full-time employees of adventure travel companies that offer multi-day, human-powered outings. Companies offering sightseeing tours and/or bus/van/air tours will not be approved. You must register using your business email address. To qualify, provide a business card or current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

BACKCOUNTRY SKI GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available backcountry ski/Snowboard guides who are certified with the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number), as well as current proof of certifications.

CLIMBING/MOUNTAINEERING GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for guides/instructors who are certified with the following: International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (IFMGA) or American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA.) To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number),as well as current proof of certifications.

FLY FISHING GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for state licensed (if applicable) fishing guides. To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number). Additional supporting documentation may include a current company brochure, catalog or personal advertisement listing your name as a guide, a personal business card from the guide service, or a letter of reference from the guide service you are employed by.

RIVER RAFTING, PADDLING OR SEA KAYAK GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available to those who are working in the river (raft or kayak) or sea-kayaking guide business in either ownership or actual on-river guiding. To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number), as well as current proof of certifications. Additional supporting documentation may include a current company brochure; catalog or personal advertisement listing your name as a river guide, owner or operator; or a personal business card from the guiding service.

SKI/SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS
Individual pro purchase accounts for ski instructors are available for current certified ski or snowboard instructors affiliated with the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) or the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI). To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number) and current PSIA or AASI credentials.

SKI PATROL
Individual pro purchase accounts for ski patrollers are available only for current, paid, professional patrollers who are employed full-time in season. To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number) and current National Ski Patrol credentials (NSP).

SEARCH AND RESCUE

Individual pro purchase accounts for Search and Rescue professionals are available. To qualify, provide a copy of Unit or Director/Group Coordinators SAR certifications, and current paycheck stub (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

AVALANCHE PROFESSIONAL (not Ski Patrollers)

Individual pro purchase accounts for avalanche professionals are available. To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub, business card and/or copy of certifications (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

MILITARY UNIT/GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE

Individual pro purchase accounts for Military Unit/Government Employee are available.  To qualify, provide a current paycheck stub, identification card, or other form of proof of qualification within the employment category (please black out all sensitive information, including pay and social security number).

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS:

WHAT COULD KEEP AN APPLICATION FROM BEING APPROVED:
1. Please submit required documentation. If we do not receive the proper credentials to support your application, you will not be approved.
2. Remember to use your business email if applicable.
3. REI Employees must access the system through Snaplink.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SMARTWOOL’S PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM:
1. Individual pro purchase accounts expire after one year of being approved. After that year you must submit a request for renewal to propurchase@smartwool.com with updated credentials.

2. If you do not hear back within a week of applying, please contact propurchase@smartwool.com.

3. Individual pro purchase accounts are for you and you alone.  Please do not make purchases for anyone other than yourself.  Abuse of the Program will result in disqualification.

4. Your individual pro purchase account privileges need to be renewed annually.

5. Smartwool reserves the right to change the terms and conditions governing   this Program at any time at our discretion.

6. By completing the Smartwool Pro Program Application Form, you are opting into all marketing communications from Smartwool. You can opt out of these communications at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email, however doing so will result in the termination of your individual pro purchase account.
