Returns

Store Returns:

Return the unworn item(s) to the store where you originally made the purchase for a refund or exchange.  

Online Returns:

Return unworn item(s) purchased at smartwool.com 30 days from the date of the order for a complete refund. We include a free shipping return label with your purchase. Returned items must be in their original packaging. Initial shipping costs are not eligible for refunds.

Please drop off your return at a Fedex or USPS location for shipment back to our return center. Returns are typically processed faster if mailed from Fedex vs USPS. 

Please include the original packing slip OR your name, mailing address, email address, and order number so we can quickly process your refund and credit the card used for the purchase. Refunds may take 3-5 weeks to process due to the time often required for shipping and bank processing. Exchanges are not available.

Smartwool Refunds Policy:

General Refunds: Refunds for purchases made on Smartwool.com will be made to the original payment methods used to complete the order.

Gift Card Specific Refunds: Purchases made using gift card or split payment will be refunded back to the original payment methods in the amounts used to complete the order.
