Hailing from Canada, Rob Krar grew up on the go, participating in sports from track and cross country to water polo and triathlons. Triathlons took him around the world, but running brought him to the States as a collegiate middle distance runner. Since starting ultrarunning in 2012, Rob has added an impressive list of accomplishments to his running resume, including winning the 2014 Western States Endurance Run and Leadville Trail 100. A pharmacist by night, Krar holds the rim-to-rim-to-rim fastest known time at the Grand Canyon and the course record at the Moab Red Hot 55k.
